Mindfulness & meditation
A sangha is a group of people, a choosen family, a community, to practice mindfulness and meditation together. We meditate in the Plum Village tradition. A global community of mindfulness practice and engaged Buddhism, founded by Thich Nhat Hanh.
We practice together, and carry the sangha together. Parts of a regular evening can be; mindfull movement, guided and silent meditation, walking meditation and bodyscan. We always end with dharma sharing: the practice of speaking from the heart.
Dana, the practice of generosity
We want to carry the sangha together, costs included (for example the rent). So we invite you to practice dana by giving what you are able to share. Our guideline is up to €5, if you pay more, you support someone who has a smaller wallet at the moment. May we be so fortuned that we will get some savings with our sangha, then we will descide together to what cause we want to donate.

How to be an ally
Being an ally isn’t about being perfect. It’s about noticing, asking (for pronouns), self-educating, and speaking up – not for others, but with them. It is about taking an active role, listening, recognising one’s own prejudices, and educating oneself.
Key behaviors include:
- Self-educate. You may have a lot of questions. Remember, most queer/trans people have probably had to answer a lot of questions before. Sincerely curious? Spend some time searching the web and find some anwers yourself.
- Share your own pronouns and don’t assume what someone else’s are. And if you misgender someone apologize and go on, don’t make a big fuss about it.
- Listen and try to understand what it’s like for the other. Minority stress is real, and fear of being rejected for who you are is too. So practice compassion and speak up against hate.
